Cucumber keeps it crisp and fresh rather than heavy. Lemon lifts the whole blend with a clean citrus note. Ginger adds a warmth that carries the flavour without letting celery dominate. What’s left is still genuinely celery-led — just not celery-tasting in the way that put you off in the first place.

We made this because someone in our own house detests celery, properly, can’t-be-in-the-room detests it, but wanted it in his routine anyway. This is what he actually drinks, and his exact words the first time were that he wouldn’t have known it was celery.
