In the Juices & Health Shots category, 11 products were recognised and three of them are ours. Only six products in the whole category reached three stars. Two of them are ours. Nourish scores food and drink on five things: nutritional profile, ingredient quality, taste and texture, innovation and overall product quality. The panel reads the full ingredient list and the nutrition panel. Branding, packaging and marketing copy count for nothing.
According to Nourish, the panel is made up of registered nutritionists, registered dietitians and specialist experts, none with a commercial relationship with the brands they judge. There are three levels: Nourish Recommended (1 star), Nourish Excellence (2 stars) and Nourish Exceptional (3 stars), which Nourish describes as deliberately rare.

Almost 300g of beetroot in every bottle
Pure Beets is 98% beetroot and 2% lemon. That's the whole recipe. Almost 300g of raw beetroot goes into every 125ml bottle, cold-pressed in small batches and frozen straight after pressing. A recipe that short has nowhere to hide, and the judges scored it 90%.
It's 125ml for a reason: almost 300g of beetroot doesn't fit in a 60ml shot. That's a proper serving of beetroot in one bottle.

Fresh root, and plenty of it
Plenty of ginger turmeric shots go light on the roots. Ours don't. Every 60ml Ginger Turmeric Shot is pressed from 15g of fresh ginger and 15g of fresh turmeric, never concentrates or powders, with apple, lemon, honey and cracked black pepper alongside.
The judges singled out the heat of the fresh root, the cold-pressing and flash-freezing that keep it fresh, and the small batches we make it in. Two words from their report sum it up: ingredient integrity.

What are the Nourish Awards?
The UK's leading independent evaluation programme for health food and drink, founded in 2017. Products are judged by a panel of qualified nutrition professionals on what's in them and how they're made, rather than on branding or a public vote. 2026 was its ninth year.
What's the difference between Nourish Exceptional and Nourish Excellence?
Nourish has three levels. Nourish Recommended is 1 star, Nourish Excellence is 2 stars and Nourish Exceptional is 3 stars, the highest, which Nourish describes as deliberately rare. Pure Beets and Ginger Turmeric Shots were rated Exceptional with 90%. Daily Beets was rated Excellence with 80%.

Why is Pure Beets 125ml and not a 60ml shot?
Because almost 300g of raw beetroot doesn't fit in 60ml. Pure Beets is 98% beetroot, and 125ml is what it takes to get that much into one bottle. The Beetroot Juice Bundle puts Pure Beets, Daily Beets and Power Beets side by side in one box.
Is there added sugar in the award winners?
Not in Pure Beets or Daily Beets. Their sweetness comes from the vegetables and fruit that go into the press. Ginger Turmeric Shots include a little honey alongside the apple and lemon, to round off the heat of the fresh root.

In Takeley, Essex. We cold-press in small batches, freeze straight after pressing and deliver frozen across the UK.
